JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Do you feel that you are working in a time of change and wish to contribute with commitment, knowledge, and courage in the social services' transition towards a more sustainable social service? Are you well-versed in the new social services act, interested in evidence-based working methods, and happy to think about structured follow-ups at multiple levels? A genuine social worker who wishes to work at a more overarching level to make a difference for those we serve? Then this might very well be the position for you!
As a development leader, you will belong to the administration office of the Social Administration and work closely with the head of administration and other employees within the administration. You will lead current transition and development processes in close collaboration with other administrations within the municipality. You will produce current situation descriptions and needs analyses and propose and drive actions based on these.
The work is conducted systematically and structured, with a high degree of involvement from employees, politicians, and municipal residents. The assignment includes, among other things:
- planning and conducting citizen dialogues
- reviewing and developing the work with user surveys
- further developing the work with ISU, individual-based systematic follow-up
You will ensure that the intentions of the new legislation are translated into concrete change work, where the needs of municipal residents are at the center.
There is an opportunity for remote work when the assignment allows it.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who:
- is a social worker or has another equivalent education that the employer deems relevant
- has several years of experience in social work
- is confident in your professional role and independent in your working method.
You are curious, engaged, and have faith in the important societal mission of social services. You are trustworthy, attentive, and have an easy time moving between different levels and arenas within the municipality. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
